Messecenter:
1: Skade på bygning eller messecentret inventar, vil man blive gjort erstatningspligtig
2: Ingen alkohol eller tobak i messehallen
3: Reklame kun tilladt på egen stand

Medbring til messen:
1: Forlænger ledning
2: Evt. sækkevogn, men der stilles vogne til rådighed, til transporten fra bil til stand. Der kan forekomme ventetid.

Dyr – Regler og Love:
1: Dyr der er omfattet Bilag 1 ifølge Miljø og fødevarestyrelsen må ikke udstilles eller sælges på messen www.retsinformation.dk/Forms/R0710.aspx?id=175833
2: Dyr og planter der omfattet af Cites, skal medbringe originale cites papirer
– Ved tvivl om Cites på dyr og planter; kontakt Skov og Naturstyrelsen.
3: Ulovlige dyr eller planter på messen, indebære bortvisning.
4: WC = vildtfanget dyr må ikke udstilles eller sælges på messen
5: Ingen salg af morpher, der er med til at udvikle wobble gen
6: Ingen salg til personer under 16 år.
7: Ejeren har ansvaret for dyrenes ve og vel på standen
8: Ved salg af dyr, skal der medfølge pasningsvejledning
9: Efter salg, er det den nye ejer der har ansvaret for dyret.

Opbevaring – Regler og love:
1: Flugtsikre bure, terrarier, bokse m.m.
2: Store bure, terrarie bokse så man tilgodeser dyrets behov med mulighed for at bevæge sig. Der må ikke presses for mange dyr sammen.
3: Overhold regler til vandlevende dyr, klatrende dyr, bundlevende osv.
4: Det er ejer/udstiller der har ansvaret for at overholde lovgivning med hensyn til varme, fugt, bundlag til de udstillede dyr på den lejede stand, samt at der ikke er ulovlige dyr og planter på standen.
5: Syge dyr må ikke sælges.
6: Dyrlæge kommer og tjekker hver stand inden messen starter op. Omfatter dyr, varme, vand bure og størrelser.

VIGTIG INFORMATION: SKÆRPEDE KRAV TIL BOXSTØRRELSER
Vi må desværre konstatere en stigende tendens til, at de gældende regler for box størrelser ikke overholdes. Derfor indskærper vi nu, i et samlet samarbejde på tværs af de danske arrangører, retningslinjerne for fremvisning af dyr.

Reglen om 1/3-udfyldelse er ufravigelig
Det er et krav, at et dyr maksimalt må optage 1/3 af den kasse, det befinder sig i. Dette krav skal overholdes under hele messens varighed. Definitionen af 1/3 opgøres således:

  • Slanger: I sammenrullet tilstand.
  • Øgler: Kropslængde (eksklusiv hale).
  • Skildpadder: Skjoldstørrelse.
  • Padder: Dyrets fulde størrelse.

Andre dyr på messen
Plads til at udfolde naturlig adfærd, herunder at kunne hvile, stå oprejst og vende sig.

  • Fugle: Pinde at sidde på (Medmindre de er bundlevende)
  • Kaniner: Skal frit kunne bevæge sig, samt evt. skjul i halm/hø
  • Sugar Glider: Skal frit kunne bevæge sig rundt, samt skjul at gemme sig i.
  • Pindsvin: Skal frit kunne bevæge sig rundt, samt skjul at gemme sig i.

Konsekvens ved overtrædelse
Såfremt kravet ikke efterleves, vil udstilleren blive pålagt at fjerne dyret fra bordet øjeblikkeligt.

Fokus på dyrevelfærd
Branchen er under konstant bevågenhed i forhold til dyrevelfærd. Box størrelser er et af de mest synlige punkter for kritik, og det er derfor i alles interesse, at vi i fællesskab sikrer de bedst mulige forhold. Ved at overholde disse standarder beskytter vi messernes omdømme og fremtid i Danmark.

Rules and regulations

Exhibition Centre
1. In the case of any damage to the building, or contents you will be held responsible for any expenses occurred.
2. No alcohol or tobacco are permitted anywhere in the exhibition centre
3. Advertisements are only permitted at your own stand.

Items to bring with you to the exhibition:
1. Extension lead.
2. Possibly a trolley; however trolleys are available with transporting goods from your car to the stand. However there might be a delay in waiting for a trolley to become available.

Animals: Rules and regulations
1. Animals mentioned in Appendix 1 according to “Miljø and fødevarestyrelsen” may not be exhibited, nor sold at the exhibition. http://www.retsinformation.dk/Forms/R0710.aspx?id=175833
2. Animals and plants covered by Cites, must bring along the original Cites paperwork. If in doubt whether animals or plants are covered by Cites, please contact “Skov and Naturstyrelsen.”
3. Illegal animals and plants will result in immediate eviction.
4. WC = wild caught animals may not be exhibited or sold at the fair.
5. No sale of morpher that helps develop wobble gene
6. No sales are permitted to any person under the age of 16
7. The owner has the responsibility of the welfare of the animals at the stand.
8. On completion of sale of an animal, instructions of how to care for the animal must be given.
9. On completion of sale of an animal, the new owner takes on full responsibility for the animal.

Storage: Rules and regulations
1. Escape proved cages, terrariums, boxes etc.
2. Large cages, terrarium boxes so that the animal´s needs are met with the possibility of movement. It is not permitted to store too many animals together in compact spaces.
3. Obey rules with regards to aquatic animals, climbing animals, benthic animals etc.
4. It is the responsibility of the owner/or the person who exhibits the animals, to make sure rules regarding heat, damp and ground cover, in relation to the animal shown at the rented stand, are all obeyed, and also making sure no illegal animals or plants are presented at the stand.
5. Under no circumstances must any sick animal be sold.
6. The veterinarian will inspect every stand before the exhibition opens. This will include inspection of the animal, heat, water and the size of the cage.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: STRICHTER REQUIREMENTS FOR ENCLOSURE SIZES

Unfortunately, we have observed an increasing tendency for the current enclosure size regulations not to be followed. Therefore, in a joint effort among Danish event organizers, we are now reinforcing the guidelines for the display of animals.

The 1/3 Occupancy Rule Is Mandatory

It is a requirement that an animal may occupy a maximum of 1/3 of the enclosure in which it is housed. This requirement must be complied with throughout the entire duration of the exhibition. The definition of the 1/3 rule is as follows:

  • Snakes: Measured when coiled.
  • Lizards: Body length (excluding the tail).
  • Turtles and tortoises: Shell size.
  • Amphibians: The animal’s full size.

Other Animals at the Exhibition

Animals must have sufficient space to display natural behavior, including the ability to rest, stand upright, and turn around.

  • Birds: Must have perches to sit on (unless they are ground-dwelling species).
  • Rabbits: Must be able to move around freely and should have access to shelter, such as hay or straw.
  • Sugar Gliders: Must be able to move around freely and have a hide or shelter to retreat to.
  • Hedgehogs: Must be able to move around freely and have a hide or shelter to retreat to.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

If these requirements are not met, the exhibitor will be required to remove the animal from display immediately.

Focus on Animal Welfare

The industry is under constant scrutiny regarding animal welfare. Enclosure sizes are among the most visible points of criticism, and it is therefore in everyone’s interest that we work together to ensure the best possible conditions for the animals. By complying with these standards, we help protect the reputation and future of exhibitions in Denmark.
